National Finals of University Games : Zone C Representatives Known

The 10 institutions of Zone C of the University Zonal Championship (CHAZU) that wrestled for tickets for the 2026 National Finals in Ebolowa now know their fate. The zone C competition which started on Tuesday July 2, 2025 at the campus of the University of Buea wrapped up yesterday July 6, 2026 with delegations returning to their various bases. The athletes had competed in 12 disciplines and three Paralympic sports. In all, seven institutions out of the 10 qualified to represent zone C in diverse disciplines in the 2026 University Games in Ebolowa. They are the University of Buea, University of Douala, Limbe Nautical Arts and Fisheries Institution, Saint Jerome Catholic University Institute – Douala, University Institute of the Golf of Guinee, Institut Universitaire de la Côte, and HIMAT University Institute of Buea. 
Dr. Wanah Litumbe Theresia, Head of Financial Department FENASU, said the games was a success. She stated that throughout the competition, no athlete was seriously hurt. “Everybody enjoyed their stay in Buea despite the fact that it rained.
