2025 Cup of Cameroon : Sixteenth Finalists Known

The 32nd finals of the 2025 Cup of Cameroon concluded on Friday July 4, 2025 with nine amateur clubs defying expectations to secure their spots in the sixteenth finals. Their stunning upsets sent several elite powerhouses packing. One of the biggest shockwave emanated from the South West Regional League, where Fako United delivered a standout performance to send home Elite One side Stade Renard de Melong. This victory underscored the growing strength and determination within the regional leagues. Other amateur sides that proved their mettle include Royal FC de Nka’ah, who comfortably dispatched Avion Academy, and Nso United, who pulled off an upset against Dragon Club de Yaounde, already relegated to the regional league. Olympique de Dibombari equally outclassed Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda (YOSA) that was declared general forfeiture and thus relegated from the top tier championship this season. Chamba SA, Mintack du Septentrion, Options SA Limbé, and Mintack de la Haute Sanaga also etched their names into the sixteenths finals. 
While the regional clubs stole some of the headlines, some established Elite clubs largely held their ground, claiming the majority of the 16th finals berths.
