Humanitarian Cooperation: Russia Hosts First World Assembly This September

Russia is already set to host the First World Public Assembly on the theme, “New World of Conscious Unity” in the Moscow World Trade Centre from September 20-21, 2025. Also known as the World People’s Assembly, the international humanitarian forum will gather leaders of public diplomacy, representatives of civil society and experts. According to organisers, the event dedicated to the International Day of Peace is expected to be a platform for dialogue on shaping a sustainable, just and harmonious future. 

Who’s Who Gathering
Some 2,000 delegates from over 140 countries, among them prominent public figures, representatives of international intergovernmental and Non-Governmental Organizations, including the UN, UNESCO, SCO, BRICS, ASEAN, CIS, EAEU, DRR and others, are due to attend the meeting. Among the participants will be politicians, diplomats, scientists, experts in the field of education, culture and sustainable development and youth leaders. Others are athletes, cosmonauts, representatives of socially-responsible businesses, traditional religious confessions and the world's leading media.

Recognition For Service To Humanity 
On September 21, 2025, the Public Recognition Award "For Service to Humanity" will be presented. There will be representatives from more than 32 African countries and at least one African speaker will be in each panel. The main theme of the World Assembly, “New World of Conscious Unity,” will form the basis of the plenary session.

The rich business programme includes seven panel sessions and more than 40 thematic platforms focused on strategic partnership and public diplomacy; humanitarian modernization with man as the centre of the future; values of the new world; spiritual, cultural unity and service and responsibility as the foundation of the future.
