Douala : More Candidates Postulate

As the deadlline to the deposition of files for the upcoming October 12 Presidential Election approaches, more candidates have been submitting their files. ELECAM officials in Douala have been on their toes as they await documents from potential candidates. On July 18, at a few minutes past 6 p.m., the Presidential candidature for the “Les Partisans” political party, Din Din Ferdinand, popularly known as « Marechal Papillon », showed up at the ELECAM regional office in Deido, Douala.
Driving his own car and without any entourage, he was met by the regional delegate of ELECAM for Littoral, Serges Bourdon Otya’a. Once inside, the president of the "Les Partisans" political party was promptly taken to the registration room, where he submitted his official documents to the waiting reception committee. While speaking to the press, the presidential hopeful Din Din Ferdinand expressed satisfaction with the warm welcome he received at ELECAM. He acknowledged that his party was prepared and waiting for when the campaign would be launched. He remained hopeful that ELECAM would be transparent throughout the election process.
