Olembé Sports Complex : Come, Discover

Following a successful first open door day, the Olembé Sports Complex is once again opening its doors to the public for a three-day event dubbed “Olembé Golden Week.” Organized by the National Sports Facilities and Equipment Board, better known by its French acronym ONIES, the festivities will run from August 15 to 17, 2025, inviting people from all walks of life to get more familiar with the facility.
The event, according to ONIES, is a direct response to the public’s and partners’ demand after over 10,000 visitors attended the initial open door day on April 6, 2025. It promises to be a smooth mix of recreational and multidisciplinary activities. The complex will host about 40 recreational workshops and daily attractions, including a semi-marathon, a “Grand Prix de Motos”, and a horse parade. For those interested in arts and culture, there will be a fashion show, musical concerts, and breakdancing performances.
