Judo : Raoul Ndjima Ehowa Shines

The Cameroonian fighter bagged two gold medals and the title of best fighter in the Black Ice International Judo Open that took place recently in the American city of Georgia.
Cameroonian judoka Raoul Ndjima Ehowa emerged as the standout fighter at the recent Black Ice Judo Open held in Georgia, USA. Raoul Ndjima Ehowa clinched two gold medals in both the -100kg and open weight categories and was also honoured with the prestigious title of Best Fighter of the tournament, awarded to the most outstanding champion.
The event marked a significant milestone for Ndjima Ehowa and Cameroon, the only African nation represented among the over 12 countries that took part in the event. “I was not only representing Cameroon but Africa as a whole, and that responsibility pushed me to perform even greater,” the fighter stated.
Ndjima Ehowa has an impressive track record in combat sports, including being a former captain of the Cameroon national sambo team. He is 12 times Cameroon champion and has claimed the African championship three times; 2018 in Tunisia; 2019 in Morocco; and 2022 in Cameroon, as well as bronze in Belfast (Northern Ireland) in 2018. In judo, he has secured six national championships, as well as two bronze and one silver at the African Judo Open. His mastery is evident by the fact that he holds black belts in both judo and sambo.<...
