U17 Women’s World Cup : Cadets Lionesses Begin Preparations

Some 30 players are training at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo ahead of the competition that will take place Morocco in October.
The national women’s U17 football team has begun training ahead of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup that will take place in Morocco from October 17 to November 8, 2025. The players are training at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo near Yaounde. For this first training camp, the head coach, Joseph Brian Ndoko, summoned 30 players. Out of that number only 27 were present for the first training session that took place in the playground of the CAF Excellence Centre. The remaining three players were expected to join the group on July 15, 2025. The first session took place under the guidance of Coach Stephane Ndoko and his technical staff. Despite a few temporary absentees, the group immediately showed great intensity during this debut, proof of the determination of the young Lionesses to represent Cameroon with dignity on the world stage.
Coach Ndoko's girls had an intense session and are determined rise to the challenge of the World Cup. The training camp that began on July 15, 2025 will end today July 18, 2025. This training camp marks a key stage in the development of the group, which will need to refine its automatisms, physical condition and cohesion before tackling the global showpiece....
