Party militants, family members, neighbours and sympathisers pour into his Ntarikon residence to express their dismay.

Yesterday June 13, 2023 at about 9 am, there was a church service at his courtyard conducted by the Uso Theresia, the Presbyterian Secretary for Mezam South. Then a condolence book was opened at the balcony with his effigy at the background as people took turns to either sign or make a prayer. Prominent among those present, was the SDF former Mayor of Bafut, P.C. Namekong, the Mayor of Bamenda III. Journalists were equally present conducting interviews and taking pictures. The national flag and the SDF flag in the middle of the compound were flying at half-mast.
