Cameroon-Germany : Progress In Cooperation Appreciated

This was during a farewell audience granted by the Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute, on behalf of the Head of State to the outgoing German Ambassador to Cameroon, Dr Corinna Fricke on May 16, 2025.

The outgoing German Ambassador to Cameroon, Dr. Corinna Fricke who has come to the end of her diplomatic assignment in the country had appreciated the progress in bilateral relations. This was during a farewell audience granted her on May 16, 2025 at the Star Building by the Prime Minister Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute, on behalf of the President of the Republic. The audience was an opportunity to take stock of the activities of the German Ambassador during her over four years stay in Cameroon. 
In her statement to the press, she noted that bilateral relations are very good, close and open, while maintaining traditional ties. “With the Prime Minister we discussed our common approach with the United Nations which is important. The regional corporation is also very important. We have our traditional cooperation, for more than 60 years.  We try to combine our cooperation with private initiatives and we have an economic platform. It is a big diaspora with people from Cameroon and Germany helping to build the bridge. We have open discussions about our common past. We have advanced in our cooperation,” Dr. Corinna Fricke stated.
